Swissvale Edible Garden Tour

Welcome!

We are thrilled to have you join us for the 2024 Swissvale Edible Garden Tour!

A group of garden-loving neighbors created this FREE, community-wide event in 2019 to foster a network of successful vegetable gardeners in and around Swissvale, to inspire confidence in new and young gardeners, to promote local food resources.

This year’s event has two parts, both held on Saturday, July 20: Open Gardens runs from 9AM-1PM and the Community Picnic runs from 1:30PM-3:30PM.

Open Gardens is CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) - start wherever you’d like and visit stops in any order. Guides are available at Info Tables at the Swissvale Farmers Market (9AM-1PM). This guide contains a map and schedule of events.

At 1:30PM the Community Picnic begins. Join us in the Swissvale Farmers Market for food, activities, music, and to meet other tour-goers and garden stop hosts.
